Covid-19 Port Management Plan

To ensure the safe return of cruising, significant work has been undertaken to develop a Covid-19 Port Management Plan for Belfast, co-ordinated by the newly formed Belfast Cruise Operations Group (BCOG), comprising of Cruise Belfast, Public Health Agency NI, Port Health, Maritime Policing and Belfast City Council Emergency Planning Team.  With the safety of guests, crew, local staff and the wider local population in mind, measures have been taken to ensure appropriate protocols are in place to support the return of cruise tourism to Belfast and Northern Ireland for the summer season 2021.

We’re Good To Go

Belfast’s dedicated cruise welcome facility has recently received the “We’re Good To Go” Industry Standard mark. This mark has been given to business that have adapted their day-to-day operations in line with government and public health guidelines.

Cruise Visitors

Cruise guests should contact their cruise line for a detailed list of all Health & Safety Protocols in place both whilst on board and whilst on shore excursions.
